By crossing the methodological and conceptual apparatus of feminist studies and avant-garde studies, this paper legitimizes the importance of research on non-discursive authorship. It is a constitutive aspect of authorship within the production of the avant-garde in which women acted. This aspect of avant-garde/female authorship is completely marginalized in academic research today. The example of the editor figures such as Stoja Kašiković and Anuška Micić shows that researching the non-discursive and collaborative authorship makes the narrative of the avant-garde much more integrative. This approach enables the subject field of avant-garde studies to expand by including female figures. From that perspective, we can return them to the position they originally had in avant-garde projects (i.e., initiators, experimenters, associates and workers, financiers, and agitators). Moreover, the study of non-discursive authorship enables the literary-historiographical discussion of phenomena and practices such as the feminist-political platform of the first Yugoslav avant-garde or the avant-garde appropriation of popular and celebrity culture.
