Author Biography

    Marko Avramovic was born on September 18th, 1984, in Belgrade. Attended primary and secondary school in Mladenovac. Graduated from Belgrade University, Faculty of Philology, Department of Serbian Literature and Language with Comparative Literature. He also graduated from his MA studies at the same faculty. Currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Serbian literature at the Faculty of Philology.

    For his graduate thesis, “The Poetic Image in Ivan V. Lalic’s Poetry”, he was awarded the “Radmila Popovic” award for 2010.

    Since March 2011 employed as a research trainee at the Institute for Literature and Arts, Belgrade, at the project Change of poetic paradigms in Serbian literature of the twentieth century: a national and European context.
